A major leisure renovation in the heart of King's Lynn
The Majestic Cinema was built in 1928 and remains to this day King’s Lynn’s premiere cinema destination. We were asked to completely renovate various areas of this spectacular art deco building, including the entrance hall, ticket booth and corridor areas, taking great care to preserve the fabric of the Grade II-listed building.
We were requested to do a follow-up project, renovating the front of the cinema and a nearby retail unit, as well as giving the iconic clock tower a lick of paint.
The client was very happy with the quality of work from Robert Fox Renovation - and has been involved in many more projects over recent years, including renovations to the Box Office/Food & Beverage areas and upgrading foyer upholstery using local experts and specialists.
The Majestic Cinema's facade has been painstakingly kept fresh whilst taking great care of the fabric of the building. Robert For Renovation's work has ensured the classic heritage asset fits the street scene perfectly next to its latest neighbour, the brand-new King's Lynn Library.
